Fourth quarter comeback powers New Mexico past Missouri

New Mexico uses 13-3 run in the fourth quarter to stage comeback win over Missouri 71-68 in the opening day of the women’s Cancun Challenge.  The Lobos stay undefeated for the season and move to 6-0 overall.  

Four New Mexico players scored in double figures, including a 17-point effort by Jayla Everett, Ahlise Hurst (15), Antonia Anderson (15) and Najala Howell (11).

Mizzou freshman Hayley Frank finished with a career-high 29 points.  Jordan Chavis netted 11 points and dished out four assists for the Tigers who fall to 2-5 on the season.

New Mexico faces West Virginia on Friday at 4 p.m. ET and Mizzou takes on North Carolina at 6:30 p.m. ET.
