No. 22 James Madison bulldozes way to Riviera Division title at Cancun Challenge

No. 22 JAMES MADISON 95, FRESNO STATE 64

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MX — Launching its night with 56 percent shooting in the first half, No. 22 James Madison stormed past Fresno State on Wednesday to claim the title game of the Riviera Division at the 2023 Men’s Cancun Challenge.

The Dukes (6-0) got 26 points from Noah Freidel, who hit six 3-pointers. T.J. Bickerstaff added 15 points and Raekwon Horton scored 13 points. Julien Wooden added 10 points for JMU, which forced 18 turnovers and shot 56 percent from the field.

The Bulldogs (3-2) got 12 points from Isaiah Hill and Eduardo Andre; Jalen Weaver scored 10 points.
