 Playa del Carmen, Mexico – Missouri guard and tournament MVP Marcus Denmon scored a team-high 21 points as the No. 11 Tigers won the 2010 Cancun Challenge in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, at the Aventura Spa Palace resort.The game was tied at 41-41 at halftime, but Missouri used an 11-2 run in the second to seal the win over La Salle, 83-71. The Tigers led by as much as 17 points in the second half. Ricardo Ratliff added 14 points for the Tigers and was named to the All-Tournament team. La Salle guards Ruben Guillandeaux and Earl Pettis each scored 13 points for the Explorers who fall to 4-2 on the season. Five players were named to the Riviera division All-Tournament Team and one Tournament MVP.
